About Us
We are a small "boutique" electric guitar manufacturer producing solid-body guitars with new advancements in design and construction technique developed by luthier Z. "Seth" Thomas. Seth received a degree in Industrial Drafting and Design from Appalachian State University based largely on the guitar designs conceived through his independent study of the electric guitar. He apprenticed at Zion Guitars in Raleigh, N.C. and has worked with Blindworm Guitars in Colorado. Seth currently lives and works out of Charlotte, N.C.
Over two years of design and planning went into the production of these instruments. From the computer generated 3-D models to the multitude of physical test models, painstaking care was taken to deliver a guitar that offers a real advantage over traditional electrics in terms of its looks, feel, size and shape.
Every Z.S.Thomas Guitar is built from scratch by Seth. Each guitar takes approximately 3 to 4 weeks to construct.
