Frank Cosentino is a well-known and highly regarded blues player out of Ontario. He's been the frontman for the Frank Cosentino Band since 1989. And, with 5 albums under his belt, and another one on the way, it's high time a signature guitar be created that captures the unique style and flair of Frank Cosentino. These guitars are similar to a Stratocaster (Copyright Fender) but with a twist. We call them Cosentinocasters.
The headstock features the classic Stratocaster shape (Fender Licensed) with a reversed headstock, Z.S.Thomas logo, and Cosentinocaster label with the production number beside it.
The body is right-handed reverse. Basically a left-handed body strung for a righty with the controls droped down to the bottom of the guitar to make it more playable for the right-handed player. Also, the angle of the bridge pickup is reversed to capture those unique Hendrix tones that Frank dishes out.
The guitar is built with Frank Cosentinos choice of tone woods including birdseye maple, and swamp ash.
The heel is contoured to improve access to the upper frets. The neck plate reads "Z.S. THOMAS, COSENTINO, U.S.A"
